Although fertilization can only happen for the duration of ovulation (12 to 24 hours), females enter their fertile days up to five days before the egg release, which is referred to as the fertile window. There is nothing wrong in wanting to use the fastest ways to get pregnant as long as there is a clear understanding of how long it can normally take to get pregnant. A healthy couple of reproductive age might take up to a year to conceive, though about 80% achieve pregnancy within the first six months.
